Meet the Stars: Gerard R.
Gerard likes to go to the movies, play soccer and basketball, attend HEI dances, perform and hang out with friends.
Gerard has been participating in Shining Stars for 4 years, starting off as stage crew and then becoming part of the performing cast. What he likes most about being a part of Shining Stars is being creative in each of his performance roles, socializing with his friends, and having fun.
Gerard’s favorite Shining Stars show is A Disney Spectacular where he showed off his fancy foot work in the role of Bert in Supercalifragilisticexpialidoc
Gerard currently volunteers in the Cranford School system, reading to elementary students, volunteering in the school library and office, and working in the CHS school cafeteria. He also volunteers at the UCESC in the gym and office.

At the end of June, Gerard will be performing as Wilbur Turnblad, Tracy’s father, in the CAU’s Community Players production of Hairspray Jr. This is his 2nd year performing with CAU.
